The Story of Duesenberg Coupe Simone "Midnight Ghost", a car that looks like bizarro version of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , is an interesting one.
The story goes that it was built between 1937 and 1939 after Duesenberg ceased production for Gui De La Roche, a French cosmetics magnate. This Emmet-Armand coachworks bodied car was based on Duesenberg Type-J and was originally painted in two tone gray, hence the Midnight Ghost name. It was later painted purple before being lost in the beginning of WW2.
Now, the story might be fancy but it's not true. The car remained as a bunch of drawings until 1998 when a 1:24 scale model of it was made.
